I was delighted to be asked to contribute to the Shetland Life Magazine. The segment I took part in is called "My Favourite..." This is where local people write about a favourite place or activity that is accessible to readers as well.
I spoke about a loch I pass on my way into Lerwick. It is often a source of inspiration for me and it changes so much with the seasons. There is also a spectacular view from the area. To read the full piece make sure you get a hold of the march issue of the Shetland Life.
There is so much to read in the magazine, it is full of work from local contributors as well as the lovely team, I look forward to working with them some more this year.
This short video was a colleboration with BBC Bitesize to help people at school choose the career for them. Watch the video to get a taste of what it's like to run my business.
Apologies to those who are unable to view, the BBC have ownership of the video and its content and is therefore unavailable in some countries.
Both myself and Grant are travelling to Switzerland NEXT WEEK! I cannot contain my excitement for the first trip of the year and to see friends there. Over the weekend I will be teaching 4 (sold out - thank you so much!) workshops, so it will be a busy one, but I am also hoping to have time to look around the market and meet more visitors. I am honored to be teaching along side the other talented tutors, make sure to check the workshops page to book some for yourself, it will be a lot of fun!
In May I am travelling to Denmark to work alongside the lovely ladies at Garncafe Madsine. I will be in the shop during the week, then joining them at the Wool Festival in Saltum on the 11th-12th May. Please do get in touch with Garncafe Madsine in Aalborg for information on workshops before the festival, then come and say hello over the weekend on stand 298 in tent 4.
This will be my first time in Denmark and in the market during a festival, it will be great to see many of you there!

Catching the last of the light for my photos is getting much easier now that the daylight is lasting right up to 5pm. This was a last minute photoshoot at the end of February at around 4.30.
