The New Workroom
I spent time between Christmas and New Year getting the new workroom set up. As you can tell there are still a few things to finish off, (and I am looking forward to getting things up on the walls!). but I am delighted to be making use of my own space and to be getting back to work in 2019.
I have had this Harrison V-Bed since the summer, but have only just moved it into the workspace and started getting it working. Grant has been working on it too, making a new table for the back and helping me change a particularly troublesome needle. I have made some items from it, but I still have some work to do to make sure the tension matches the Dubied I am used to at the Shetland Designer workshop!
I'm not worried, its a great machine, with a wonderful history. I will be writing about that in future posts!
The light shines straight into this room every morning which is always a welcome start to the day. I am so happy to have this space to call my own and to keep everything in the same place.
I did a virtual tour of my workroom on Instagram Stories, look in "Highlights" and click "Workspace" to view!
