The new Mr and Mrs Leask
I am so excited to share with you that not only did Grant and I share a lovely trip to the Isle of Skye, we also planned our wedding while we were there!
It's been such an exciting month, looking forward to a trip to the Isle of Skye, wondering if the restrictions would allow, having a beautiful quiet wedding ceremony while we were there (and photos of course!), then coming home to surprise our families with the best news ever. I was convinced everyone had figured it out but the surprised faces when we told them assured me that they had no idea.
We've had so many messages of congratulations and we appreciate them all, Grant has always been involved with my business so the response on social media was utterly heartwarming.
Now to get used to being Mrs Terri Leask!
The Isle of Skye
We so enjoyed the trip to Skye, even though we were leaving Shetland in order to keep the day small, the island feel was still ever present.
We drove around roads to explore, walked around the coast, found castles, ruins and lighthouses on our way, as well as making sure to sample the products from the local producers.
Here are some pictures from our trip to inspire you!
Shetland Wool Week 2020 may be cancelled but we can still get together to celebrate!
Since the last post there have been a lot of announcements, first the annual and all of the patterns from the designers who have contributed. This year my contribution is the Rig O' Flooers Cushion.
Online Classes running during Shetland Wool Week 2020
I have also scheduled online classes to make sure we get the REAL feel of wool week.
Knitting Kits are coming back to the online shop soon!
A few of you have already been in touch about kits, I'm preparing these now and I will be adding them to the shop as soon as the last colours are in stock - watch this space!
SWW are putting together a program of all the smaller scale, mostly online events that local people are putting together to celebrate this time of year. Keep an eye on the Shetland Wool Week website for these updates, and make sure you keep an eye on my social media too, I have a few tricks up my sleeve!
