Shetland Wool Week and NEW COWLS

class 2

Shetland Wool Week 2018 has been and gone, it was great to see so many familiar and new faces around at all the events and classes!

On the Saturday night I held a meet up for the Facebook group and email subscribers, I was delighted with how many lovely people came along for a catch up! There was so much to talk about that I only managed to take a couple of photos. Thank you again to everybody who came along to catch up with each other and my family.

The classes this year went really well, I especially loved seeing the yarn wraps as a result of the colour classes. Discussing how to plan a new piece of Fair Isle is always so interesting to me as everyone has a different idea and so many first-time visitors to Shetland take inspiration from their trip. In the crown class we spoke about how to change the design to make it your own and seeing everyone start to understand the process and everything they had to consider was great.

I spent a little time in the hub and took a picture of the map, (this was on the Monday so I’m sure there were even more as the week went on!).

Finally, as part of the Fruity Knitting Wool Week episode I did the new releases segment with Andrea and Andrew and you can watch here:

I am offering Fruity Knitting Patrons and Terri Laura email subscribers a 25% discount on the Tina's Hat and Tina's Mitts patterns. Email subscribers should find the details in their inbox now!

Christmas Craft Fair - Shetland

Preparations have started for the Christmas Craft Fair at the Clickamin Cente on the 16th - 18th of November.

Last year was so much fun, and a huge step for me. With all the practice of the past year I'm really looking forward to taking part again and I cant wait to see what people think of all the stock I will be bringing along! I am making as much stock as I can as well as preparing the Christmas orders so far, watch this space!

Coming Soon

Three new cowls are being added to the collection this year. I am delighted to present to you, for the first time, Tina's Cowl, Sapphire, and Peat!

I will be selling these for the first time at the Craft Fair in November, then they will be available online from the 21st of November.
